There are Scholarships being made available all the time and they cover a broad range of areas and have differing selection criteria. Two resources you can use to search for Scholarships are below:

The "Good Universities Guide" Scholarship Finder:

This is the largest and most comprehensive scholarship database in Australia.

The "Country Education Foundation":

This website specifically offers scholarships aimed at Rural and Regional students.

Also, as I become aware of any Scholarships, I will post the details for you below:

Rural Chances Vocational Scholarships

For 2018, there are 10 scholarships valued at $5000 to assist young people to move away from their home town or to assist with extensive travel required to complete training qualifications. Rural Chances scholarship recipients will receive extra care from a mentor and leadership and networking opportunities.

Additionally, at least 10 smaller scholarships of up to $2000 are available for specific items to support training. Applicants  must identify what they need, how much it will cost and why they need it to complete their study. These smaller amounts can be used for equipment, course fees, tools of trade, travel costs, materials etc. Recipients will also be offered mentoring and leadership and networking opportunities.

The online application process is really simple, and requires you to submit either a written application or a video application. Check out the 'How Do I Apply' page here  http://www.msrf.org.au/ruralchances-1. If you’ve got any questions you can go to the 'Contact Us' page here http://www.msrf.org.au/contact-us
